I am so excited to say I have gotten together with a group of ladies from Bloom to take part in a ‘Film Friday’. The last Friday of every month we will be posting the results of one film shot during the month. Anything from our favourite shot to the entire film.

Have you heard of the Bloom forum? If not follow my link to check it out. I am part of a Project 52 with some wonderful ladies who met over on the forum. This week the theme is ‘United’.
For this weeks theme I have gone a bit abstract. Saturday was my designated day to shoot, but all my warm and fuzzy thoughts for what I would shoot for ‘united’ went south when I woke to my son telling me the fish tank had hardly any water left. With this information in mind I ventured into the playroom (which had all its furniture crammed into one third of the room after my youngest the previous week had taken it upon himself to water the carpet with the garden hose). Low and behold water was spurting forth from the filter and my carpet which had finally dried after my sons escapades was now wet through the other 1/2 of the room. Believe me it felt the worlds forces were ‘united’ against me. So this week I take a close up look at the scene……

I am part of a Project 52 with some wonderful ladies who met over in the Bloom forum. This week the theme is ‘Pink’. My household is made up of 2 little boys, so pink is not something I see a lot of. So I decided to introduce some pink in our lives
. Please excuse my complete lack of cooking skills……

I’m participating in a 10 on 10 project with a wonderful group of ladies from over on the Bloom forum. On the 10th of every month (or round about) we will be posting a set of 10 images of a day in our month.
At the moment I am trying to challenge myself to complete the month on a roll of 120, so 16 shots. This month I’ve used Fuji Pro 400H a film I need some more practice with.
This month our 1st camping trip features, with 2 cars, 2 women, 4 kids and a national park. We visited Wilson’s Promontaory and my only wish was some film which could handle low light, especially when wombats took it in turns of trying to raid our camp.
1. Filling my little car to the brim; 2. Prom views; 3. Breakfast with the gulls; 4 & 5. Exploring our camp site; 6. Hitting the beach; 7. Taking in the views; 8. Some snorkelling fun; 9. Boys play, coating themselves in sand; 10. and the day drawing to a close.

I am part of a Project 52 with some wonderful ladies who met over in the Bloom forum. This week the theme is ‘Grounded’. My first thoughts for this week were earth between the toes sort of thing, but when I stopped to think about what made me feel grounded I knew what my shot had to be. The images below are from just a short walk up the road, when I go without this scene for too long I find myself out of sorts and unhappy, its like a long exhalation that brings me back to earth and allows me to move forward…..
